family thanksgiving . . .

we had a really nice time celebrating thanksgiving & kate & eldon's 10th anniversary with their family & mom in Lloydminster. they were wonderful hosts & it was so good to see them settled & enjoying their new home & communtiy. we had a great turkey meal on saturday followed by charades. we all went to church sunday morning & really enjoyed the service. i did a little family shoot sunday afternoon & after some more great food & interesting conversation we headed home. thought i would share a few of my favorites . . .

welcome back . . .

i know . . . i know . . . it's been a year since my last post . . . what can i say . . . it's been a really busy year. my parents moved their camper from our town campground (it's a long story!) & are soon leaving the country. so i thought i should probably get this up & running so they can keep up with our lives while they are away. i also think it will be neat for my girls to look back on this someday. . . a little more exciting then my diary days!
my parents insisted they did not want a big wingding for the upcoming 4oth anniversary so we had a simple but wonderful family brunch last sunday & then a walk & mini photo shoot in the park. happy 40th mom & dad!
